Tulip Bulb Help - Mould

I got 5000 mixed triumph bulbs late last Tuesday.

I have stored them in a cold room at work but left them in the bags they came in.  Each pack of 50 has at least half covered in green mould.  A lot seem to be damaged around the mould area..

Would it take a week for them to grow this amount of mould?

    So this isn't normal then? They have tried to say it's because I left them in the bags since Tuesday afternoon which is when they were delivered.
