Osteopermums

Hello there, will these survive if I leave them in over winter - do I need to cut back or do anything with them.  I saw a very short thread that said they are only half hardy and wouldn't survive the winter.  Thanks in advance!

I have had some of the less hardy ones survive a winter,it just depends on where you are and what the winter is like!

  • Thank you - I have just checked and the ones I grew from seed are half hardy and I don't have a greenhouse and no room in my cold frame.   I guess I will just have to hope for the best and if I am unlucky I will have to grow some more. I could take some cuttings though and put them in the cold frame.

  • Hi Verdun, yes I do have a cloche and it would be ideal for them.  Thanks, I will try that.

  • Got it - thanks Verdun image
