hi everyone could someone tell me when i can start my tagetes gem from seed ? can i start them know in the green house as my this years seed is dry thanks

Hi marksman, I hope that when you plant your seed in the spring that you are successful but I have not been very successful myself with tagetes, no idea why. Be prepared to buy seeds if germination doesn't occur within a few weeks. Not as satisfying but at least the bought seeds will be true to type.

They will be fine Mark, I always use my own dry seeds, they are shades of red/yellow and orange,I dont mind what comes, they are tender so don't start them now, they wont survive the winter, and they will quickly germinate next Spring.
