Spiders eating my apples

My apple tree seems to be eaten by spiders. Does anyone know how to get rid of them.

Hi Tracey, Spiders are entirely carniverous so won't be causing the damage but will use the holes to hide in. The holes are probably being caused by birds or wasps.
