Darren lots of perennials can be grown from seed too so perhaps a trip to the GC would be worthwhile - if you can resist the temptation to remortgage your house and buy loads of plants that is! For a couple of pounds you could pick up a packet of something you like and sow them in pots or trays. Lots of plants for not much money
