Can you name this?

This is a friends plant but we dont know what it is.Taken last year. Bill

    ...the only plant I can find that's similar is Amianthium muscaetoxicum... Fly Poison as it's known, and  native of E. North America...  the star like flowers start off yellowish but fade to white... it is available in this country... but like Aconitum it's a poisonous plant...... just a guess..

  • I'm in the wilds of Canada (Toronto) and I have found the people on this site really know their plants and thought this was a great place to get it identified.
