hydrangea
in Plants
I have planted a few Hydrangea which appeared very healty at the time. However after a few weeks the some leaves have gone a shiny copper colour. Some leaves have died and dropped off. Have I been giving them too much fertiliser?. I have given them some Azelea,Rhododendron feed which I thought was suitable. Any suggestions please,

Don't think I have ever fed a hydrangea and it has coped and flowered annually-what they do need is lots of water-hence the name
My guess is they have dried out-would not feed but water all through the summer to get them established
