I do and have been for the last couple of years.  And here I am!!

Mine's in a wildlife pond that has a slow leak so gets a top up every day (luckily I have a bore).  It seemed to die back in the autumn but has picked up a bit now.  I like it chopped through hot buttery mashed potato and in my salad.
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

I grow watercress in a bucket of regularly refreshed rainwater.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • My watercress in a small shady pond is still producing some good shoots but will need thinning out soon.
As above, it also does well in a bucket and if only a small amount is required, I have successfully grown it in a tray of very wet compost for my elderly neighbour in her GH.
