What to do next

Hi Folks

New to this site so hope I get things right!

The above flowers have been brilliant over the summer and a real eye stopper - though I do regularly nip our the ones with the propellers at the back.  They are still in full flower and I'm wondering what to do with them next and preserving them over the winter.  Any advice would be gratefully received.

  • Thank you Dove.  I've just spent the last half hour reading the above and other people's comments.  I have big and blousy and perhaps this year I might just check to see they are free of the dreaded vine weevil.  I guess the 'Apricot Shades' [a Gardeners World offer March] I shall leave outside until it starts to get really cold [they're in a sheltered spot] and then lift and store for the winter.
