Have just bought 10cm box plants which were potted on 2 weeks ago do I grow them on or could I plant out at this size, also what can I do to the ground where they will be going to give them the best start. Thanks
bluejan if they've only just been potted on recently and they're only a few inches I'd let them grow on for a while to let them get a decent root system. I assume it's for a hedge (?) so I'd just make sure the ground was nicely prepared with plenty of compost dug in and free of any large stones/weeds etc- pretty much as you would for anything you want to plant.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
