using bright room to grow seeds

hi,

Unfortunately I don't have a polytunnel, it is on my wish list!!

Just wondering if it would be possible to use the top room in my garage as a place to grow seedlings. It is very bright; 2 velux windows in roof and 2 windows in gable

Would this be a suitable environment. If so, i have seed trays ready to go.....

not sure what I'd grow there at this time of year, but I'm sure in Spring it'd  be splendid.

Should work in Spring providing you can get the seed trays right next to the light source.

Start in spring and make a light box, but don't start too earlyimage

Top room in garage sound good as long as it doesn't get too hot, as for light box's I've been toying with the idea for a couple of years now but have been put off by the cost of bulbs and running costs after all I'm growing tomatoes, peppers and a few greens for an early start I don't want to spend lots of money when I could just go for sowing later undercover.
