Anyone know anything about Bush Peonys? Planted one 3 yrs ago and just got its first one and only huge bud on it. Don't want to lose it. What kind of feed? Same with standard peonys, first buds on since planting.
Peonies thrive on benign neglect, and if yours is only 3-4 years old and beginning to flower then it sounds to me as if you've got it right
Do nothing to it now - just enjoy looking at it every moment that you can - after it's flowers are over sprinkle a little bonemeal around it and water in then leave it alone again. Do this (and nothing else) every 2-3 years and it will be fine
Do not dig it up or dig around it's roots - it hates that.
