I need more photos. Bark, buds, leafjoints.Do they flower etc
...the top one Ash, the bottom on I think, Elder, which usually has 5-9 leaflets, sometimes 11..serrated edges... to my eye it has a 'Sambucus' shape... one that's been growing in some shade...which has drawn it up...
OK, that makes sense, is there an easy way of telling which is which?
Elder can easily be identified. It stinks. Nothing else smells like it.
It's hard to tell from photos as you can't see what you need to see. (and smell and feel).
In your picure of the small tree, which of the leaf photos belong to it?
