Creeping buttercup

How on earth do I get these out of the lawn? I don't usually use chemicals but guess I'll have to. I physically would not be able to dig them out. Any suggestions

Yes, that'll do the job.  A sturdy old table fork is nearly as good as long as you don't mind getting down on your knees.

Failing that a dab of glyphosate gel.

  • I hate buttercups!   They're evil and you will not ever erradicate them!   They've a plot to take over all UK land!

  • In league with ground elder I suspect image

  • I have a weed extractor so can try that . Thanks Pansyface. Dovefromabove, unfortunately I can't kneel - 2 knee and a hip replacement. I love gardening but am not too agile anymore. Frustrating. I doubt if I will clear it completely but don't want to leave it to spread right across the lawn.
