  • Thanks guys, the first two pics I'm worried could be creeping buttercup? However it came in a sort of aquatic plant basket which I'm assuming is to contain in?

Thanks for the help. Some else suggested the last plant was a sedum of some sort.

The first one isn't Creeping buttercup - it's hard to tell as it's very floppy, but it looks like a cinquefoil which  spreads like wildfire here and is regarded as a weed in this garden.

  • Brill just number 3 to identify then.
  • Thanks dove from above its in a aquatic type basket which I assume is to stop it spreading!

I'll keep a close eye on it.
  • Number 3 might (and only might) be one of the ground cover dianthuses.

Is the third one some kind of rock rose? Can't think of it's proper name at the moment .

It looks like a groundcover dianthus I ordered in the summer BTG. I just wasn't confident enough to say it in case I sent you all on a false trail. Mine has deep carmine flowers. Dianthus deltoides.
