Advice for beginners on climbers, please

Hi, we're just coming to the end of landscaping our garden and are now ready to start planting. I have two climbers which I'd like some advice on, please.
Firstly, I have a honeysuckle, which I'm planning to put in a pot on some decking, near a pond. It will be in full sunlight from about 2pm to 8pm during the summer. At the moment, it's in a pot and about 6 inches high, should I put it in place now, or do I need to bring it inside over winter?
I also have a Clematis, which is about 10 inches high in a pot, and seems to be happy where it is, getting morning sunshine only. Do I need to bring it in over winter too?

I've never found honeysuckle to do well in a pot as they're woodland plants that like a long cool shady rootrun.

Thanks both. I'll plant out the Clematis but have a re-think about placing the honeysuckle.
Could anyone suggest a climber that will go in a large pot against a wall, which gets full sun all afternoon?
