  • I have just logged on to see if there were any replies and I am delighted to find all this help.  Thank You everyone for taking the time to share your knowledge.  I will definitely be following your trusted advice and I will be so excited if it flowers next June.

  • Dear All

I followed your advice to the letter and thought you might like to see the results!!!

I am absolutely thrilled to bits. Verdun, you said it would flower in 'June or so' and you were spot on

I will follow the advice regarding pruning when it has finished flowering.

Thank You everyone.  It almost got dug up and put in the green recycling bin - but I am so glad I came on here first and got your wonderful advice.  I don't know if you will be notified of my followup email so I might drop you all a quick note as I really want to say a big Thank You x image

Enjoy the lovely scent - this year and in future years too.

It's a pleasure Betty - glad to be able to help :-)

A sprinkling of Fish, Blood and Bone (a slow release organic fertiliser) next spring might be a good idea too.
