Bumblebee nest in my compost bin

We had a fox cub trapped between the compost bin and the fence panel this morning and when we freed it, we discovered a bumblebee nest at the bottom of the compost pile! 
As I love bees - this is terrific news!

This is a photo of Max who sadly died in Feb of this year. It's one of my favourite pictures of him.
Foxes have a thing for bumblebee nests. My bumblebee nest was attacked twice by foxes two years ago. Curious thing because bumbles don't store more than a bout a dessert spoon of honey.
