Hi folks,
I found a few of these seed heads fly-tipped down by a local dog walking path along with a load of other garden rubbish. Any ideas what they are? I collected them thinking they might be Alliums but looking online I don't think they are.

Agapanthus. Very pretty, will take a few years to flower and not fully hardy in very cold areas. Certainly worth a go.
Sow the seeds as per the advice given for Allium seeds on here, somewhere!

They look really nice and I bet the bees love them! They'd look good in my new mixed bed. I'll have a look at the link and see how I go.
