hollie - love the way the sun's just dropping below the roof in that first pic..dog looks happy
Just remembered about the geranium which fidget was asking about. Here's a pic showing the leaves. Not sure if the 'crinkliness' shows up very well though.
Bit blurry that photo -sorry
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Just before I came in 3 swifts came very low and swooped through a low part of a hedge (just as I stood up from weeding) passing just a couple of feet over my head - they are quite big birds when you see them up close and coming straight at you! About 18" wingspan I would guess.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

HollieH, that first picture is quite magical; what a beautiful garden
Verbascum Clemantine; I posted it when it first started flowering, but it has exceeded itself now!
The rose; Compassion, I wish I could transmit the scent too.
Delphinium; no idea which one, it is actually royal blue but my camera does not register blues very well.
That Clementine is beautiful artjak, I'm going to write the name down this time
