Araujia sericifera

This plant has grown very well this year and has produced lots of fruits, I would like to know how best to deal with them, if not of any use how best to destroy the fruits.

Any help would be gratefully received

  • Many thanks Philippa will probably take your advice, although I wonder if it will poison the earth once spread.

  • Dear Philippa,

I shall be very happy to send you some seeds if you can let me know an address.  I live in the Channel Islands.

At the moment I have 17 fruits, the most grown to date.  I had the plant several years ago and brought it with me on moving.   I have been at this address since 2008 and this is the most fruits ever, must like where I have it on the garage wall facing south.  It did not produce in the greenhouse and I decided to move it outdoors and it coped with last winter well.

    Kind regards

  • Thanks for message, excuse the ignorance I do not know about PMs and how to access the relevant site.
