    Some kind of escallonia, but I'm no expert (only know that it's what I've got from posting a picture on Facebook!).

    Escallonia Iveii comes to mind.

    I'd second Iveyi. Mine didn't make it through the winter image

    Nice shrub though 

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
