cucumbers is the sun too hot in spain

im in spain and growing cucumbers on my balcony, they get the sun for about 3hrs each day but the leaves seem to be getting brittle and more yellow than green. is it too hot in the sun and do i need to move to the shade?

Are you giving them plenty of water?!
I grow my cumbers in a greenhouse but I shade it. I've found they love warmth but not direct sun. I also try and keep it humid, trough of water & water on the floor.
hi, yes they are getting plenty of water, ill try to shade a little and see how i get on.
