You know winter's coming when the Teggys start appearing! I found one like him in the bath last week. When he reappeared again the next day I'm afraid he went out onto the garage roof , but he won't be happy about that!
I see them regularly doing the same - they sprint (or stroll) across the lounge as if they own it. Half expect them to have leather biker jackets and a flick knife....
One appeared in younger fairy's bedroom and she came for 'assistance'. It was a whopper. I don't like putting them outside - they're indoor spiders after all, and looking for a mate
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I've got a pet spider, it lives under the rear screen wiper of the car. It's been miles, fortunately no rain, I don't know if it would cope with that. It nearly got lost this week when it built an extension across to a work bench and I needed to go out in the car.
The mist this morning meant there were hundreds of sparkly webs all over the garden. I got some pix and will take a look at them later and maybe get some on here somewhere. There was one between the gate post and the brown bin - a huge long thread. I won't be able to put any branches in the bin fro Friday now...and I have a lot from the pine tree...

There's an outside one that lives between the car wing mirror and bodywork and a giant inside one that was last seen squeezing under the sofa
.
They soon repair the damage to webs. I tell them if they want to live here they have to fit in with us.
We thought there might be a lack of food under the carport so OH hunts craneflies and throws them into the web
