Focus point advice needed

Hi folks,
i need some ideas on what plant I can put in the centre of the barrel in the picture below to be the focal point, im going to be putting some frizzle sizzle pansy's around the edge. The barrel is 2ft across.

I've got a Phormium Yellow Wave in the centre of a container I've planted up for winter - I've surrounded it with purplish/bronze heucheras, but purple pansies would look good too.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
