Liriope flowers disappearing

Good morning all,
My Liriope muscari 'Big Blue' finally flowered for the first time ever this year, having planted them two years ago.
But when I checked on them last Saturday, suddenly all the flowers have disappeared and just the bare stalks are left!
I know for sure no one in the family has picked them, so what happened?
Please help!

You must be kidding me! I must say they do have good taste.
Thanks for your suggestion, Verdun. I will use bird safe pellets and protect my plants!
