Wilting Rose Gertrude Jekyll

My previously healthy rose has sudden started to wilt, the leaves are turning a burnised red and there is evidence that some of the lower leaves have been eaten but no sign of any pest. Any ideas what this may be?

I have found that several of our roses have done this, I suspect an unseen frost one night recently. it happened last year to one quite big rose, I cut off the droopy bits and it was OK - though like everything else last year it was not as good as it has been. This year must be better huh? Anyway, leave the droopy bits for a bit, if they dry up then trim them off, but they might sit up and take notice as the sun is now shning and it is warmer.
I'll wait and see what happens then with fingers crossed, it's soooooooooooo beautiful, It would be awful to lose it.
