Plant ID Please

Any thoughts please? I know they are not flytraps, but would like to know what I've grown (I do know others have grown similar Poundland flytraps, but no IDs as yet!).

They now look quite sad as they are very pot bound, and the leaves have turned purple and furry. Help!

Thanks,

Tim.

  • Thanks for the suggestion. Possibly some better photos here if it helps: http://m.bucksfreepress.co.uk/news/13328722.Councillor_fears_mystery_Poundland_plant_could_be_dangerous/?ref=mr&lp=2

The seeds were tiny and potted in supplied vermiculite so I know they were stray seeds I introduced

They are potted on now, so if they survive to next year I may get a flower...

That's Poundland I'm afraid. Not exactly renowned for their plants, Tim....image

I think we're doomed to diminishing journalistic standardsimage

I know it's a been a slow news month, but .....image

I've stopped reading newspapers because I can't be bothered with the endless sensationalism. Also, 24 hour news reporting means there are too many hours to fill, so we end up with a lot of 'non news' news image

Gone off topic a bit - sorry Tim  image
