Last grass mowing

  • I'm happy with my small lawn. We did try to buy a bit of extra garden from the old trout behind but she was having none of it!

It wasn't going to be more lawn tho, I wanted a bit of a fruit grove and a big pond.

    Such is life.

We've got a small lake 0.8 acres . One day I'll get that sorted too.

    Devon.
  • I got my wee grass cut last night and was going to start my big grass today but cows came...and  went...and came back....and went again..... The bit that was cut last night is now covered in dainty cow footprints!!!! It all went quiet around lunch time so I began to relax when off we went again!!!! One of the calves became separated from his mummy and yelled the place down til I got him met up with some other random mummy who looked a bit surprised but ok. She then started yelling the place down...presumably calling the real mummy back to get him.

So anyway my grass is still not cut!image

  • Nothing so useful Nut. They just wandered about some, took in the scenery, relaxed. I think I got off lightly though. I was talking to a farmer who told me that they love lawns. They kick up their heels and frolic!!!! Today was more of a sedate affair. image

    I'll give them frolic!

  • Isn't though FG? image New rucksack is also important work. For the first trip out EVERYTHING is in the wrong pocket. Make a map of where you put your bits and pieces as well. Guides perchance???

I've had my old one for so long I may have a nosebleed when I go to use the new one. I'll probably spend more time faffing around with it than I will walking ...image image

A map for my bits and pieces ppauper?  How many bits and pieces do you think I have!  image

  • Tissues, spray on plaster...don't get me started. I'm so ladylike I carry a rucksack every day. My life comes with me everywhere I go. Safety pins, dry socks.....
