In fact it will seed everywhere. i am about to go out and remove all the foregetmenots I can see - knowing well that there will still be plenty for next spring. If I leave them all to seed we'llprobably have to move!

have you had the opportunity to try brunnra? It has almost the same gorgeous little clear blue flowers, stunnning foliage in greens and white - depending which ones you buy, and isn't a spreader? Worth a try, I am gradually getting a few in and am delighted with them so far, over the last 3-4 years. Recommeneded to those who love fogetmenots except for the hassle now.
But be careful. Which of these doesn't spread Bookertoo? Mine spread like mad and only some of them are variegated as you might expect. Probably too late for me to think about a non seeder.
Interesting, I've had brunnera for several years and they have politely stayed where I put them. Agree with myosotis (forgetmenot) they seed everywhere no matter what the labels says. There are several bunneras, Jack Frost has the whitest foliage as ou might imagine, and there is one called something like 'looking glass' or similar - again, very white splotched leaves and those lovely clear blue little flowrs.

Don't move it, it's not a perennial. Leave it to seed and move the seedlings to where you want them. You can rely on it seeding
