Advise on lawns

My lawn is full of clover, a friend suggested using weed and feed, however my husband refuses to put any chemicals on our lawn as we have a pond in the middle and the chemicals will run into the pond upsetting the eco balance. We do have wild life in the pond. Can anyone suggest a safe weed and feed product I could use.
