I lost my polkas but the Autumn bliss is going really really strong.  Maybe one of each Harrers?!

Polka , planted this year, loads on. Taste quite nice. I expect a better crop next year when they are established.

Yet another amazing crop from Polka here - I'm beginning to wonder whether you can have too many raspberries imageimage

No Dove. Freeze the excess to have in your porridge in winter, or on pavlova, or mixed with apple in pie,or easily makes jam,or coulis for ice cream.

Order them now, Lilly Pilly. They will send out as soon as they are lifted. They are best planted as soon as you receive them, you can prepare a trench now. If the ground is frozen, you can't plant.

Freezer full of raspberries, runner beans and tomato sauce (thank goodness the courgettes didn't to too well this year).  Raspberries eaten with muesli every morning, shelves groaning with jars full of jam ..........

  • Help! I am a 'transplanted Vancouverite' living in central Scotland and have been waiting for 2 seasons for a single raspberry! I planted autumn raspberries (can't remember which kind) in spring 2014 and didn't expect much last autumn, but I didn't get a single berry this year either! Bright sunny spot, good soil, mulched over winter...what am I doing wrong?

What sort of pruning regime? Autumn rasps should be cut hard back to soul level in Feb. all stems.
