Raspberries
Hi,Can anybody tell me, what sort of soils Raspberries grow best in, I planted two summer fruiting raspberries in a bed that contains blueberries, but am not sure if the ground was too acidic for them ( I had added some acidic compost for the blueberries) and the raspberries were growing ok and suddenly died, should I remove some of the soil and the add manure, and leave it a few weeks before planted some autumn bliss canes instead?
Thanks

Raspberries prefer a neutral sandy soil
Thanks Fidget bones, soil was too acidic then
Raspberries natural home is woodland. They like a mildly acid soil with plenty of leaf mould or other neutral or slightly acidic form of compost.
