Damfino

mum has lost the label and therefore we call the plant a damfino any help please in identifying many thanks.

    One of the herbaceous non climbing cleamatis. Clematis heracleifolia or one of its cultivars

    Could even be Clematis tubulosa 'Wyevale', looks very much like ours does.

    I think they might be the same thing Berghill, yours is probably the up-to-date name

    T'other way round. C. tubulosa has been subsumed into heracleiefolia. However, if you wanted to buy it then it is still sold under the old name.

    Our versions of C. heracleiefolia are much more purple than this one though.

    Yes. mine is less blue. But, as the one above, inclined towards yellow leaves which never look very healthy to me
