Pendulous sedge

HEllo,

HELP please. 

LOADS of Pendulous sedge coming up  in damp, shady spots in the garden.

How do I get rid of it? Some are big clumps. Burn it??!

    They take a bit of digging out but it's what I do with them. The flowers and seed heads are very attractive so they get to seed too often

    You could always grind up the seed to make a supposed nutritious flour.

    Dig, dig and dig again and never let one go to seed. Even then they will re-appear for years after.
