Planting out a Daphne.

Hello I have a Daphne Eternal fragrance in a pot which has been doing well all summer but is now beginning to look a little sad and is unbalanced in the pot, so I am worried about how it will cope over the winter. Is it possible to plant it into the ground now, or should I wait.

Any advice would be most appreciated

Thank you in advance.

I planted mine straight in to the garden last year back end of August put alpine grit into planting hole and mixed with compost too to back fill to help with drainage mulched in late. October and came through the winter fine slow grower but as flowered off and on from Spring.

  • Fabulous thank you Zenjeff, I'll get her planted in the morning. I was just a little nervous about planting out as I've never had a Daphne before. Many thanks image
