turf

Hi

We purchased some turf from quality garden supplies in July and to cut a long story short 6 weeks from laying it the turf is all yellow with brown patches we think it is covered in leather jacket eggs. We have contacted the supplier they were rude swore and are ignoring all e-mails we are so upset the lawn looks awful now and I will not let my grandchildren on it, there is no professional body we can turn to that deals with this sort of thing all we would like is a refund so some justice would of been done. We have looked on internet and treated the lawn with nemasys. Will have to wait now.

Just wondered if any one else has had this problem

I'd agree with Verdun. Trading standards.

Sale of good act 1979 :

"Goods must be of merchantable quality and fit for the purpose sold"

    Devon.

I'd agree with Verd, Sally. Photos are one of the most important things to have, as are  records of any conversation  - that's where email is so useful. Phone calls are hopeless unless recorded - your word against theirs.

Disgraceful that companies think they can behave that way. Turf isn't cheap - no matter where it's from or how much you buy.

Keep at it - don't let them off the hook.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
