Hi all I'm very new to gardening and have no idea what this could be. But there seem to be a lot of ants liking the purple buds on it?

Looks like a peony if I turn my head to the left. Have a look for greenfly which the ants may be farming.
I thought peony as well
It Is a peony n look like it I pink one. The flowers should appear soon.
