Heliotrope
in Plants
I bought some plants that were labelled as heliotropium arborescens princess marine at the local garden centre back in late spring. After looking online for info, it was widely claimed that these are highly fragrant and I was looking forward to the scent. The plants have grown beautifully and produced lots of blooms, and comparing my plants with online pics I am sure I have heliotrope, but the absence of scent is puzzling me. Could the garden centre have mislabelled a scentless variety? I wanted to grow heliotrope from seed too, and have somewhere read about a variety called chatsworth, but can't seem to find any suppliers of this. Anyone know of a source? Thanks!

My heliotrope Marine grown from seed only gives scent on very warm days (and
specially in very warm evenings...).
Thanks all, have found a possible supplier via the link pansyface, will try giving them a ring on Monday.
