Jasmine star

Hi, hope someone can help. My jasmine star leaves are turning brown and dropping off. even the new growth has turned brown and dropped off. Ihave it in a large pot against a wall. I bought it two years ago and it has been fine until this year although it has only ever had a few flowers but the leaves were always healthy looking. I fed it fortnightly last spring with Tomorite and it produced lots of new growth, have done the same this year but to no avail, have cut it back a bit,but nothing seems to be working.Do you think the bad weather has caused this or should i have a look at the roots to see if it has been infested. many thanks Elizabeth.

  • I suspect it may have suffered in the drought and heat of the summer ... how big is the pot and what sort of compost is it in?
Could we have a photo of the whole plant and pot please?

I have several in my garden and it looks to me like a lack of water as Dove suggests. They are very thirsty in the warmer months
They grow vigorously and they may well have outgrown their pots too.
