hydrangea

granmagranma Posts: 1,933

I have bought a hydrangea I shall wrap in fleece to protect through winter.but can I protect the roots .? A few years ago through the harsh winter I lost all my hydrangeas and phormiums .

The phormiums came back but not any hydrangeas.

What kind of hydrangea and are they in the ground or in pots?   In my experience they are much hardier than phormiums so maybe you got the moisture levels wrong.
