Oriental Chrysanthemum
in Plants

I found these seeds quite by chance last year. It was a James Wong range for wildlife gardening. I grew them in my allotment. Only a few germinated successfully but wow! they were fantastic! Big multi-stemmed plants with delicate grey/green leaves and beautiful creamy yellow flowers. hundreds of them all summer.
I was so proud of them I entered them in the local (very small) show - and won a prize! I felt a bit guilty though. The class was for 5 stems of the same flower. As you can see, I had multi flowers on each stem and they made quite a show!
Sadly, I was unable to grow any this year from my collected seed and hav'nt seen them in the shops again. Any ideas?

The plant is Glebionis coronária (formerly Chrysanthemum coronarium).
Check at Thompson & Morgan and Chiltern, where they have the double varieties.
Suttons has it under the "veg" section, as the plant is edible.
