My new apple trees that have been grown in large pots have buds on - when I plant them out should I prune them at all?

Don't prune until early autumn. Clear the blossom off, root development is more imporatnt in the first year.

As gleaned from google so please don't disagree with me, not my theory.
Prune when dormant to promote growth and in summer to promote fruit production.
I wouldn't prune now, just keep well watered. Exciting times ahead,I have learn't all about the subject, grafting, pruning, training,nicking and knotching,pollination even!
Nothing new,it's all be going on for decades!
Last night I as was pollinating my solitary pear, it has one cluster of flowers so i was busy with a paint brush, my neighbours must think i'm do wally
Yes looking after fruit trees seems to be quiet a tricky business - I'm quite worried that I'll do something wrong and they will just never fruit or die.

I got a new lemon tree which looks to be just a couple of years old. I was really hoping for some fruit but as of yet I've had no luck. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas to help my tree along? Thanks
