sawfly control

Morning guysimage. The rains haven't arrived yet so I have been scouting the garden and both the gooseberry and some of the rose bushes have been stripped. Should I be looking to treat the soil now somehow so that it doesn't continue next year. What with the flowers being taken by something (poss deer) and the rest stripped by other critters I have an abundance of sticks growing in the garden image

I am glad you said that Verdun, about the Agastache, I am changing almost all of the plants in my garden next year and have 100 agastache plants so far, hopefully the Salvias won't get rabbit eaten either.

I bought SB plant invigorator recently, supposed to kill all pests, it wasn't bad on the greenfly but you have to keep at it on the white fly. I wonder if that would do for the saw fly, (is it those that get your Solomons Seal)?

I don't think they rated it much on Beechgrove last week, Sue very quickly glossed over it.
