hi all, iv been growing some veg for 3 years but thought id try tree fruit,
when they fruit can you eat the first batch

You are supposed to remove blossom for first year to give roots time to strengthen and develop. I did this. Last year was the 2nd year and I left every other fruit bud on. had some lovely apples. This year, so far, very little blossom, think it's the weather and everything being late.
