  • thx guys n gals not just me then, may just do a couple of baskets next year with trailing geraniums and fuchsias, they seem to last a bit longer.

    Also the fuchsias like to be kept wet, the pelargoniums like it dry!

    I have three hanging baskets which are on the fence posts on the shady side of the garden.  They add a lot of colour to what is a difficult bit of the garden.  I quite enjoy deadheading as I find it theraputic and watering once a day isn't any sort of hardship.  I do agree though that if neglected they do look awful.
