Sting in the Tale

If you haven't listened to this delightful programme, I can't recommend it highly enough.  It's a serialisation of a book about bumble bees, 15 minutes per episode. I have heard the first two and can't wait for the others,

  • Have ordered this book from Amazon on the strength of one 15 minute episode on radio read by Tim McInnerney.  Author goes to live in the west of France to address issues of bees (and butterflies?).  Am waiting for parcel to arrive.  His writing is almost as lyrical as Derwent May's in The Times (His articles are usually collected in book form each year and are a real treasure).  Ditto Richard Mabey.
