Need help identifying this tree

I've recently moved house and and in my garden stands a tree which I don't know the species of. I originally thought that it was a regular blossom tree, but have received conflicting opinions as to its nature. Is it a regular flower tree or is it a fruit bearing tree?

Sorry I cannot tell if it is a crab apple or domestic eating apple from the flowers.

  • Thank you for the replies. My main enquiry was whether it actually bore fruit and what type of fruit that was. So thank you for identifying that it's an apple tree.
