fish introduced naturally in the pond

I am in the making of a natural pond.  A large quantity of tadpoles have burst on the scene.  Upon looking I have been shocked to find a number of dark fish that have just arrived.

Are you sure they're fish Anita? Look very carefully around the head area and see if they have external gills. The shoals of fish that appeared in our pond were baby newts.

It all happens in a pond WW. Get digging.

  • Definitely my project for the year... once the open day is over, that is.

No big projects before an open day. Puts too much pressure on to get them done (and all the other stuff)

  • Agreed... I have plenty on my plate anyway. Thanks for the advice.
