Stamped on lilies

In clearing out some old nasty ivy I have managed to step on tree lilies that were just starting to poke out the ground (about an inch). Have I crushed them to death, or will they give up on that one and throw up another spike?

Probably make an effort next yearbut bulbs don't have a second go as far as Iknow
In the sticks near Peterborough
It won't throw up another spike. Friends daughter tripped on the path last year and grabbed a whole pot of lilies to brace her fall, they didn't grow back but are romping away now.
